Valorie Davis

one of our mathematics instructors, was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and earned her degree in Elementary Education from Harris-Stowe State University, an HBCU. She moved to New Mexico in 1997 for a teaching position and instantly found her passion in math, bringing 22 years of experience to the classroom. Valorie also holds a master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics and Leadership from NMSU. In June 2025, she and her wife, Delaney, moved from Ruidoso to Sandia Park with their five furbabies, where they enjoy hiking and the outdoors. Both are also professional musicians who perform throughout Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. Valorie is excited to join the EMHS staff and become part of the local community.
