Foundation
The East Mountain High School Foundation was formed in 1996 to accept the donation of twenty-six acres of land from Roger Cox and Mountain Ranch. With the help of many generous community members, the Foundation was able to secure a loan from First Community Bank that allowed us to build the East Mountain High School campus. Today, the Foundation works tirelessly to raise funds for East Mountain High School.

Volunteer
East Mountain believes that students are successful when parents and the community are involved in the life of the school. For this reason, parents are asked to volunteer sixty (60) hours per year to benefit EM. This requirement is per family, not per child, and hours can be carried over from year to year.
Some parents choose to meet the volunteer requirement by donating money or supplies to EM. Donations of money or supplies can be converted to hours at the rate of $10 per hour. By giving of their time, talents, or treasure, parents are helping EM be the school their children need to succeed.
Almost anything can count as parent volunteer hours, including attending school events, attending athletic games, chaperoning field trips, carpooling, helping the EMHS Foundation, and attending PACK meetings. The only things that don’t count are driving your child to school and helping other community organizations instead of EM.
For more information about volunteering at EM and to find out how to get involved, email Trey Smith.
In some volunteer roles, parents may need a completed background check. Please complete the packet of forms (available to download). To learn more, please contact Gwen Brown at 505-281-7400 x. 114 or by email.

The PACK
The PACK is our school’s parent/guardian/family organization. We are currently hoping to rebuild this organization, as the former organizers were all parents of students who have now graduated.
If you are interested in helping re-energize this important organization, please contact Stacy by email or call 505-670-8546
Alumni
At EM, we believe our greatest impact can be felt through our alumni who are making incredible contributions to the global community.
Departments are looking for alumni in numerous professions who would be interested in serving as advisors to better inform our school’s curriculum
Any alumni interested in helping the school in any form should email Trey Smith.
