is a science teacher resident pursuing her Master’s in Secondary Education in Science at UNM. She holds a B.S. in Biology from New Mexico Tech. Originally from Washington State, Sarah was raised in Tijeras and is a 2016 graduate of East Mountain High School. Before transitioning into education, Sarah spent five years working in microbiology and quality control in a manufacturing environment. She is passionate about helping students make meaningful connections between scientific concepts and the real world. Sarah lives in Albuquerque with her husband, two dogs, and four cats. In her free time, she enjoys dog training, reading, and rock climbing at Stone Age Climbing Gym.
