Stephen Morris

Integrated Physics and Chemistry (IPC), Biology and Wildlife Management Instructor

Born and raised in Albuquerque, Stephen is a published scientist with a BS in Environmental and Organismic Biology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, and an MA in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from Adams State University in Alamosa, CO. He was working as a wildlife biologist in the Four Corners area and was privileged to study birds, bats, rodents, plants and carnivores, including multiple endangered species in his previous career. He taught science for seven years in Ignacio, CO, before deciding to return home. Stephen relies on strong relationships with his students in order to push them onto a path of success created by resilience and self-reliance. His hobbies are fishing, backpacking, golf, video games, and spending time with his wife and dogs.
