Student at NMSU
Nursing & Spanish
Ashley is a nursing student at New Mexico State University with a passion for holistic and patient centered healthcare. She currently works as a Nurse Intern while pursuing her goal of becoming a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse and, ultimately, a nurse practitioner. Ashley is actively involved on campus through the Student Nurses Association and serves as the Community Service Chair for Collegiate 4-H. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica, an experience that strengthened her cultural awareness and added to her Spanish minor.
“EMHS pushed me to build meaningful connections within my community and strengthened my ability to think critically, which are skills I will carry with me throughout both my personal and academic life.”
