Originally from New Jersey, Jim grew up in Colorado and Wyoming. He holds a BA in History from ENMU and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction from NMSU. He has 31 years of teaching experience, including 7 years in private schools in Mexico, Colombia, and Taiwan. He and his family recently moved to Sandia Park, and they are enjoying gardening, hiking, and traveling together. He is an avid triathlete and can frequently be seen on the bike and running throughout the East Mountains.
