Erin holds a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of New Mexico and has been teaching since 2021. She has taught elementary school as well as middle school Language Arts, Social Studies, and AVID. She has lived in New Mexico most of her life and can’t imagine living anywhere else. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for twenty years and spends most of her free time cheering on her two teenagers at their various activities. She loves road trips and the National Parks–she and her family particularly love Yellowstone NP, Zion NP, and Arches NP. When at home, she enjoys hiking and snowshoeing in the Sandias with her two dogs, Bermuda and Nala. Her favorite activity is getting comfy on the couch with a good book.
