Seniors Grayson Oakleaf and Miller Millea were nominated and selected for the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) Academic All American Award. This is a prestigious award that is received by only around 2% of competitors nationally. To be considered for this award, they both had to accumulate a minimum of 750 NSDA merit points throughout their Speech and Debate careers, showcase community involvement, and demonstrate academic excellence. Their achievement reflects not only four years of dedication to Speech and Debate, but also a deep commitment to leadership, scholarship, and service—values that embody the true spirit of the NSDA and East Mountain.
